Strawberry Begonia [Saxifraga stolonifera]

The strawberry begonia is a fantastic plant that looks like you will have land lily pads in your reptiles enclosure, while underneath you will find a vibrant pink/purple coloration where the plant gets its name from. This is a ground dwelling plant that would do best on the ground or attached to a background where it will droop its flowers down when blooming. This plant enjoys a humid environment with low to medium shaded light. the begonia does not do well with bright lights and will wither when exposed to it. This would make a great choice for a tropical bioactive enclosure that is looking for a great background plant or something to fill in the ground area.
